PS2 Alert
Well, here's the deal. If you have an older PS2, and by older I mean if it's not one of the new teeny, tiny, skinny consoles, some of the newly released games will NOT work. Yes, that means if you want to play any of the newer games, you have to go back out and spend yet another hunerdandfiddy bucks for a new console. This stinks worse than week old roadkill. Madagascar is one game in particular that won't work with the 'old' console. You'll get a 'disk read error' message on your TV screen when you try to play it.
I'd like to personally thank Sony for whatever it is they didn't do to the old consoles that would enable them to read these new disks.
Let me also thank the makers of the new disks for making sure they wouldn't work in the old consoles.
And lastly, let me thank the sweet little lady who works in electronics at Wal Mart for apparently being the ONLY person in the ENTIRE store who knew about this glitch.
It's good to be thankful, isn't it?
Lemme tell yah, I've been to Wal Mart 3 times in less than 24 hours, and I am DONE.
