Blogs...and stuff
Just from what I've seen in the past few minutes, I think this blogging business might be getting out of control. I hear there's a Bloggers Annonymous meeting at 10, 2 and 4 on one of these sites.
Now here I sit with my piddly little blog...no ads, no banners, no flashing thingies, no pictures, nuttin...just words. I'm SO outta the loop here! I s'pose some of us just need to easssssse into these things. It's not like I haven't had a blog before, because I have. I've had more than 1, actually, but it's been a little while. Maybe tomorrow I'll run to Wally Mart and pick up some flashing neon signs and plant them on my little blog.
Anyway, on to other things. I watched Phantom Of The Opera today. The movie was great, except for one thing. There are times, even though it IS a musical, when the dialog really should be spoken and not sung. Also, at the start of the movie, and at different points during, they show the man and woman at the auction. Call me stupid as a stick, but I still haven't figured out who they are. Is it Raoul and Miss What's Her Name, the ballet director, or is the man the Phantom after some decent plastic surgery? I just didn't get it, because he bid on and won the Phantom's little monkey clock/music box, or whatever it was, and put it on Christine's grave. But while he was at her grave, it showed a red rose tied with a black ribbon, which is what the Phantom always left for her. If the old man is Raoul, why did he buy something that had belonged to the Phantom and put it on Christine's grave? Maybe I missed some symbolism somewhere. See, this is where the 'disorder' thing comes in. HA!
